Descrizione

L'allevamento avviene in stagni temporanei, dove si sviluppano i girini.

Diffusione

Si trova nell'alto bacino amazzonico in Bolivia, Brasile occidentale, Colombia, Ecuador e Perù. È diffuso ma generalmente raro. Si trova più comunemente intorno agli stagni temporanei nelle radure vicino alla foresta, ma può essere trovato anche nelle foreste.
